PerfBoard is a browser-based CAD tool for perfboard and protoboard layouts.
PerfBoard helps electronics builders plan component placement, route jumper wires, and generate accurate cut sheets before soldering. It is designed for projects where perfboard wiring quality matters and hand-measuring each connection is slow or error-prone.

Works with AI agents
PerfBoard has a remote MCP server at https://perfboard.app/mcp. Connect Claude, ChatGPT,
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client, and the agent can read your boards, place parts from the
component library, draw custom footprints from a datasheet, define nets, and route wires, through the same
engine as the editor. An agent writing firmware can read the board's nets and pins to produce pin
definitions that match the real layout, or design the board and the firmware together and pick the pins
that keep the wiring simple. Agent access needs PerfBoard Pro and the MCP subscription.
